A week after losing by 30 to Pulaski Academy, Little Rock Christian won by nearly the same margin in a 55-26 victory over Little Rock Parkview on Friday night at Warrior Field.

Little Rock Christian (6-1, 3-1 5A-Central) and Parkview (4-3, 3-1) traded explosive plays for touchdowns, but Parkview's offense was slowed in the second half.

Little Rock Christian senior quarterback Jackson Bowersock was 22-of-28 passing for 428 yards and 4 touchdowns that each went for more than 40 yards.

"Most of them were wide open," Bowersock said. "We've got a lot of weapons. It just makes it easier knowing that if I hit them perfectly at 5 yards that they can take it for 80 yards."

Warriors junior receiver Justice Hill threw two passes on trick plays -- where he would receive a handoff then set and throw -- that went for 53 yards, including a 41-yard touchdown pass to senior Ladarius Burnes for a 14-7 lead with 3:15 left in the first quarter.

For Parkview, 275 of its 379 offensive yards came during the fist half, when senior running back Zachery Smith had a 64-yard touchdown run and junior quarterback Geary Allmon had a 55-yard rushing score.
