Hall (1-9) has a chance to get its first conference win this week when it squares off against Searcy (7-2) on Thursday at 7:00 PM. The timing is good for Searcy since Hall is limping into the contest on a eight-game losing streak.

Jonesboro delivered Hall a harsh 56 - 6 defeat last week. The blowout was painful but not necessarily a surprise as Jonesboro is ranked 21st in the state, many places higher than Hall. As for Searcy, it got a somewhat close 28 - 21 victory over Mountain Home last week.
